Fair Pet Foundation offers community service opportunities for individuals seeking to fulfill volunteer hours for school, work programs, or court-ordered requirements. Your time helps vulnerable animals and supports our mission.
Volunteer Tasks May Include:
- Cleaning kennels and cat enclosures
- Grounds cleanup and organizing
- Light office/clerical help
- Your special skills
All participants must:
- Be 16 or older (under 18 requires parent/guardian consent)
- Be able to work independently or with minimal supervision
- Commit to following shelter safety and animal handling guidelines
- Be respectful, on time, and ready to work!
Who Can Participate?
We welcome volunteers completing hours for:
- High school or college credit
- Employee volunteer programs
- Court-ordered community service (non-violent, non animal and non-sexual offenses only)
- Probation, diversion, or pretrial programs
❗ Please Note
- ❗ We cannot accept volunteers with offenses related to animal cruelty, violence, or sexual misconduct.
- ❗ All court-ordered volunteers must provide documentation of their required hours and supervising agency.
